It was a last minute decision. I’m talking about 10pm the night before. The Virtual Jeep Club (VJC) was going on their annual YJ run at Table Mesa and there were a group of Buggies going out that would run Die Hard. Sure, that sounds fun and and it was!
Sometimes I just have to take off my heavy shoes, wear flip flops and enjoy the day, and this was certainly one of them. No “working” but who can’t take pictures?!?! I am fully guilty. So I wore my flip flops (what I call my rev limiters) and had a great day on the trail with my AZ Friends from LetzRoll Offroad and met some great new people from VJC.
The AZ Summer is coming in a flash, only April 20th and it was already in the high 80’s. Certainly not complaining, this is what makes AZ wheeling ideal for the winter months. The summer: there are plenty of places to go in the higher mountains that cool off just right. Want to come to AZ to wheel? Check out the VJC board for upcoming trail rides, there is an opportunity for every level of experience and vehicle!
Enjoy the pictures. This is the trail Die Hard at Table Mesa area off 17 in AZ.
