The Rubicon Trail Foundation  is proud to announce the 8th Annual Cantina for the Con, happening September 1-2, 2012, Labor Day weekend,  at the Loon Lake Spillway.

Tacos Available ALL DAY Saturday and Sunday!

Visit Vendors that SUPPORT the Sport Saturday and Sunday!

Raffle at 4pm on Sunday – Do not need to be present to win! 

 

Make a donation for a chance to win some great prizes!  Last year, thanks to our vendors and friends we raffled off over $15,000 in prizes!  

I don’t live in the area can I still win?  YES, you can. We don’t care where you live; we just want your support. So if you win a prize we will send it to you. We do ask that you pay for shipping if it’s a large item.

Do I have to be at the event to win?  NO, you don’t. We understand that you want to help us support the trail and might not be able to make it for whatever reason. (Even though you’re missing out on great tacos.)

What amount can I donate?  We ask the you donate a minimum of $1. The more you donate the better your chance to win.

How do I make a donation??   There are a few ways to donate! We will gladly accept your check or money order made out to the Rubicon Trail Foundation (RTF) or you can buy tickets using your credit card.  If you are purchasing by credit card, you can call Dave directly at 408-445-1601. If he does not answer, please leave your name and number and he will return your call as soon as possible.

Come have some of our famous Cantina  tacos, nachos, ice cream, drinks available all day Saturday and Sunday.  There will be many vendors, entertainment,  and plenty of great people who love 4-Wheelin.  We will also be having an RC Race Competition, featuring  RECON G6 challenge, R/C Rock Riot, and G6 U-T-A-C.

cantina for the conThe 2012 Event is already Ramping up!  Over the weekend of August 11th, a group of Rubicon Trial enthusiasts joined the Rubicon Trail Foundation on a special VIP trip set up for radio personalities from 98 Rock and the El Dorado County personelle.

The Rubicon Trail Foundation’s focus of fund raising is to help to enhance the future health of the Rubicon Trail, while ensuring responsible motorized year-round access. The focus of the trip was to show off the Rubicon Trail and how beautiful and important it is to keeping open.  Everyone on the trail had a great day, as usual, and we are confident that the radio personalities will positively help spread the word about this great event.

Join us Tuesday Aug 21 @ Extreme Gear Off Road

Rock-N-Roll 4×4 will be hosting our annual PRE-Ticket Sale BBQ off of Sunrise and 50 in Rancho Cordova on Tuesday 8/21 starting at approximately 5:30pm until Dusk at Extreme Gear Off Road at 11389 Trade Center Drive, Ste. C Rancho Cordova, CA 95742. Map to Extreme Gear Off-Road

If you have never been to this, you need to come this year. Ask anyone who has come in the past, the Pulled Pork Tacos are off the hook!!!!

If you buy Tickets we will feed you, if you buy a lot of tickets, we will feed you really well.  We will be grilling Hot Dogs with all the fixings.  For the Big Spenders they will receive Real low and slow BBQ’d Pulled pork!

The Rubicon Trail Foundation is a federally recognized, non-profit organization dedicated to the future health of the Rubicon Trail.  The Rubicon Trail acts as the support for Rubicon work projects and as a liaison with local government organizations. This support can range from getting approval for projects from the appropriate agencies, to feeding the volunteers, to buying the supplies needed to maintain the trail. We also fight the efforts of others to close or restrict use of the Rubicon Trail System.  All funds raised help to enhance the future health of the Rubicon Trail, while ensuring responsible motorized year-round access.
