This will be the second stop for a Marketing Series called “How To Create Your Own Media” presented by Charlene Bower from Bower Motorsports Media. A more generic title may be “Marketing and Media 101″. “Sometimes it’s the simple things that we do that makes the biggest impact, and most the time we just have to be reminded,” said Charlene Bower, owner of Bower Motorsports Media. “You will leave with a list of ideas, tasks and opportunities. If you accomplish half of them in the week, you have accomplished more than you would have before thinking about them. And I guarantee, you will laugh at least once!”
No, it’s not a lesson on how to edit video and crop pictures, it is a broad spectrum of tips and tricks on how to work with event media groups and how to make your presence known in front of the small group at the event and on the much broader internet.
Among many other potential topics, we will share What Designates Media, How to Interview Well, Where to Be, How to talk about Sponsors, and how and why to Utilize Social Media.
Although this program is structured towards the Racer, if you are a Sponsoring Company or any kind of Business Owner you will also benefit from the marketing tips and techniques.
This Program is open to Anyone and Free.
Please bring a Pen. There will be a handout for note taking.
