BlueRibbon Coalition – Champions of Access – Request Product Donations to Save Trails!

BlueRibbon Coalition is excited to announce TWO huge fund-raising opportunities that showcase businesses for the rest of 2011.  First, we are launching the 3rd annual online charity Christmas Auction for BRC starting December 1st, and at the same time announcing the Pomona Off-Road Expo Team Challenge fun competition in October.  Many businesses will want to be part of both events.  So we offer a few options for your consideration.

Note: donations made now that cover both events will receive promotional marketing and social networking from now through December 2011.  Titled sponsors (Platinum, Gold, Bronze, Silver) will receive proportionate marketing and headlining throughout the Pomona Expo and Christmas Auction time frame.

Your marketing opportunities will be huge.  Facebook posts and insights numbers look like this for the last six months on Del Albright, Landuse and Access: between 50,000 and 80,000 post views; 3000 to 9000 monthly active users;  up to 5000 news feed impressions regularly; and over 5000 fans and friends, with 52% of our users age 25 to 44 covering the USA, Canada, Italy and Mexico, a significant chunk of your customer base.  Other marketing will come from BlueRibbon Coalition, Stacie Albright and other BRC supporters.

With a simple donation of products and discounts, you can be part of one or both of these hugely popular activities for landuse and access.

TITLE SPONSOR: applies to the Team Challenge at Pomona Expo; this event will be named after the Title Sponsor.  All suggestions considered. Email Del Albright for more info or ideas.

Platinum Sponsors: donate $1000 in actual product towards the Christmas Auction, plus Team Challenge goodies, swag, small items, and gift certificates valued at $250.

Gold Sponsors: donate $750 in actual product towards the Christmas Auction, plus Team Challenge goodies, swag, small items, and gift certificates valued at $150.

Bronze Sponsors: donate $500 in actual product towards the Christmas Auction, plus Team Challenge goodies, swag, small items, and gift certificates valued at $100.

Silver Sponsors: donate $300 in actual product towards the Christmas Auction, plus Team Challenge goodies, swag, small items, and gift certificates valued at $100.

Donors: $100 or more in product or gift certificates.

The Auction plan is straight forward: businesses, individuals and members donate items that will help us raise money – does not have to be off-road items — and we put them on an eBay type auction that provides all the proceeds to BlueRibbon Coalition. The auction officially launches online Dec. 1st 2011. In the meantime, we want to fill the “virtual” store room with goodies, swag, gift certificates, and products that will showcase business partners and friends. Each item will help raise money to support BRC and all its efforts around the nation.  Donate now and we’ll auction it off in December.

The Expo plan is simple: email the item description of your donation now to Del, set aside your actual product for drop-shipping after the Christmas Auction, and we’ll market your support of both Expo and the Auction.  If it is small stuff you want included in Expo Team Challenge, you can bring it to Pomona, or ship it directly to Del:

The key is you – we ask that you dig through your storage sheds, garages, stock shelves and back lots to find items to donate (unused preferred unless it has real historical value). New product lines are always welcomed. Auction items can range from gift certificates, business discounts, small goodies, and new products, to very large treasures! This is YOUR chance to really help BlueRibbon.

Shipping and Handling: Our first choice would be to ask you to drop ship the item as part of your donation once the bidding is complete. We will notify you of the winning bidder contact/shipping info.  If you prefer to ship now, donations can be sent right to our home office, attention Ric Foster.   We’ll make it work for you, however is best.

Exposure: Donations will receive national exposure from this joint venture. BRC plans to showcase our donors in our website, with additional mentions in articles, blogs and web posts. This will be a win-win for all of us, as well as for our access to our recreational trails, waterways and backcountry.  Del Albright will additionally Facebook all sponsors/donors and their support.
